Stocking Stuffer Ideas

There are plenty of presents that are small enough to fit into a stocking, and this article will help you think of age appropriate stocking stuffer ideas for your friends, family members and loved ones. Typically, presents found in stockings are cheap, fun presents that will only be used for short period of time, so its not necessary to put a lot of effort trying to find the perfect stocking stuffer idea.christmas stocking stuffer ideas

For younger children, things like candy, small dolls, stuffed animals, toy cars, super balls, action figures and chocolate Easter bunnies are perfect for stuffing Christmas stockings. Kids might also enjoy things that make them feel grown up, such as flashlights, fake mustaches, and plastic tools to put in their plastic tool belts.

It’s a little harder to come up with stocking stuffer ideas for pre-teens since some have reached a higher level of maturity than others. Some good gift ideas for pre-teens are puzzles, video games, Lego’s, drawing pens or pencils, paper back books, pecans, and robot parts.

Teenagers are the most difficult to buy stocking gifts for, so its best just to randomly throw in things like old cassette tapes, lip gloss, scarfs, pizza flavored pretzel sticks or maybe a gift card to a store where you’ve seen them buy something recently.

Adults like things in their stockings too, so don’t forget to stock up on fingernail clippers, neck-ties, adult diapers, anti-fungal medication, business cards and prune juice.

PRO TIP: If one stocking is going to have more things in it than the other stockings, make sure to stuff the emptier stockings with tissue paper or a pair of socks so that it looks equally full.
